When I got my new GLI, a neighbor of mine who owns a 2023 M3 competition and his dad has a 2021 5-series congratulated me but they said that BMW is by far the more superior German brand of cars. Stating performs better , reliability is light years away, maintenance cost is similar or slightly worse.
