Anyone know why Paypal asks to add my number whenever I login into my paypal account? I understand the part about sending me a text with the code to my number but why i specifically have to reenter my number. I've already added a mobile number upon creating my account for added security so I'm not sure why it asks for me to add one each and everytime I login.Wrong location on 'We noticed a new device login' email - PayPal Community
So why can't Paypal improve the customer experience and avoid this confusing security warning? In my case I was using a known device in a completely different location so I thought it was a phishing email. Bad email credibility - even if it did include my name.
